because of a stupid football game england vs portugal, suddenly something popped on my mind, well, due to watching it with bunch of guys who obviously supported england and of course because of seeing all the supporters cried and looked soo depressed watching their team lost the life and death game.

ohhh when will we get involved in this world-calibre game? so i can chant and cheer "indonesia go go go!" and clap my hands, *clap clap clap* "indonesia!" (omg, i can’t belive i’m soo cheesy!) why it’s so difficult to be proud of my country? once a friend from Norway said she was writing on a dissertation about Indonesia. i was like.. "what??" there was a slight pang of proudness even before i asked what the topic was about. and guess what the topic was! CORRUPTION for f£$k sake. and my face expression dropped.

anyway, being here, my patriotism is being tested. really. it is soo easy to live here, so damn easy, everything is so accesible, from the transport system to information. everything!

well i still have lots of faith in Indonesia though, my idealism always tells me to go home and do something for my country, if you don’t like it, change it. like i always say to everybody. yeah, do something! anyway, i can’t wait to go home, well not because i’m bored or tired of living here, but i need GOOD FOOD! batagor, baso taku, mie akung.. well, hell yeah that would be HEAVEN! *gurgling stomach*
